Driving Academic Excellence

As the chief academic officer, the executive vice president for academic affairs and provost oversees and coordinates academic programs, including teaching and research, and works closely with the president in institutional planning and advancing the educational mission and core values of the University of Miami. The University’s schools and colleges, University-level centers and institutes, and key offices and administrative units report directly to the provost.
